Just recently, Nike unveiled the latest member of their Air Max series named the “Terrascape Plus”. This silhouette was first seen some time last month and this time around, the sneaker will be available in Tan & Burgundy. The TerrascapePlus is the latest initiative by Nike to move towards greater sustainability.
Taking heavy inspirations from its “big brother” the Air Max TN, the upper and outsole of this new Nike Air Max model are made of recycled polyester. While the outsole is made of 10% Nike Grind material. Translucent TPU overlays and a matching heel counter are then applied to the grid-like mesh upper to complete its look.
As seen in the image above, the shoe features a tan upper with suede overlays. Which are further complimented by a rubber lace cage which conceals a burgundy Nike Swoosh on the sides. The tongue and laces are finished in a maroon colourway. Meanwhile, the bottom of the sneaker is comprised of a Crater Foam midsole with a little hint of pink in the middle. Lastly, to complete the look, the shoe is fitted with a Grey Rubber Grind outsole.
As of right now, there has been no official release date confirmed for this shoe. However, it is expected to hit Nike stores and its retailers relatively soon. There are even some reports stating that it could see the day of light as early as September. One thing is for sure though, and that is it will release by the Holiday Season.
