Air Max 97 Gears Up Grey and White Getting ready for the summer heat? Nike has got you covered with their latest Air Max 97 model. Additionally, it’s also celebrating its 25th anniversary, which means we could expect to see an array of models dropping this year. However, Nike has decided to drop the usual bright hues for this model and went for a simple look instead of a monochromatic white and grey combination with silver reflective overlays.
This pair is made of breathable mesh and features a novel chain link weave in the mid sections, which is something new. Leather and 3M overlays are more consistent with older models, with the latter receiving a silver finish. The forefoot Swoosh is gunmetal grey, as is the tongue and mid-panel. Meanwhile, the sneaker is rounded off with a simple midsole, air unit and outsole.
