For its latest style, the newest Air Max Plus 3 in “Bone and Black” recalls classic Batman gear with bone grey uppers of mesh, plastic, and leather. The synthetic paneling and mesh base have a subdued silver makeup that allows for sun-reminiscent flair at the forefoot and top of the tongue to shine.
Throughout the sneaker, you’d find a lot of gold details, such as the small Swooshes, logo on the forefoot, and the Air Support Unit, which again takes us back to the Batman callbacks. Sole pieces underfoot diverge in a mostly black configuration, which incorporates a high heel counter. What’s interesting is that this pair has undergone some material changes, which could make it more appealing to new fans. Multi-layered mesh uppers and 3M reflective laces put a fresh spin to this silhouette.
