Nike TN Air Max Plus to French Initially released in 1998, the Nike Air Max Plus kept a low profile in many markets, however, it quickly became big in France. To celebrate this, Sean McDowell’s design appears to celebrate the country’s rich sneaker culture. The uppers are fitted with black mesh in a pattern that resembles a net.
A flowing cage runs across the upper and textured leather overlays appear around the heel. Nike Air tongue tags feature the French flag, while heel tags include the silhouette’s characteristic “Tn Air” table of components logo.
To complete the special-edition pairs, the sole unit below contains red and blue padding, an obvious nod to the French flag. This Nike Air Max Plus will be available for £154.95 through the Nike.com website and select stores in the coming weeks.
