New vibes colorway “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility”. With a pair of sneakers just like this one, anybody who rocks them will definitely feel good and look good. Officially named the Air Max Plus “AMRC”, short for Air Max Running Club, Nike has delivered a sneaker splashed with vintage-like colors.
The shades of red and blue across the sneaker are reminiscent of Superman colors back in the 80s. Taking the lead, the red color instantly sets the tone of the sneaker. Adorning the TPU all throughout the upper and the suede mudguards across the frame of the sneaker. Underneath the red layer, the base of the sneaker is covered in a shade of cerulean blue. Matching the Air Unit found underneath the sneaker. The midsole and lace unit seem antique in their “Sail” colorway, while the Swoosh and outsole go for more gilded luxury.
“AMRC” tags dangle from the eye-stays to provide a little branding for the Sportswear giant. The look is completed with a rubberized outsole mixed in shades of yellow, blue, and red.
The second pair in the collection takes the same influences as the first and provides a darker mix with mesh bases in a midnight blue color and overlaid in black cages. Pops of orange emphasize the Swooshes and gradient arch. While, the sole units showcase all of the aforementioned colors, with the midsole opting for a white arrangement. The pair’s “Obsidian” hue is highlighted by Air units at the heel and the forefoot Finally, a silver Swoosh pin holds a detachable tag just like the first pair.
The Nike Air Max Plus “AMRC” collection is due for a release soon across Nike’s stores and selected retailers. Expect a retail price of £165.95 per pair.
